Building Well Leaders for the Future with Health Education and Genune Connection

What We Do
Wellness for Leaders LLC trains and certifies youth organization leaders and university-level students to become state-certified Community Health Workers (CHWs), preparing them to support underserved children, youth, and families through community-based health and wellness services.
Our programming includes health education, social-emotional learning, healthy lifestyle support, resource navigation, care coordination, family engagement, prevention, and connection to community services.
Community Partnerships
We partner with schools, early education centers, nonprofits, universities, and community-based organizations to bring wellness services directly into the environments where youth learn, grow, and connect.
We support partners through program development, service coordination, quality monitoring, documentation processes, and outcome tracking.
Supplemental Wellness Programming
We collaborate with local wellness practitioners and creative professionals, including yoga instructors, nutritionists, fitness instructors, dance instructors, creative writers, artists, mindfulness practitioners, breathwork facilitators, music and sound wellness practitioners, gardening educators, financial wellness educators, self-defense instructors, boxing coaches, and other health and wellness professionals.
These experiences help supplement existing youth programming while building confidence, self-esteem, healthy coping skills, creativity, leadership, and overall well-being.
College and University Interns
College and university interns receive hands-on experience facilitating meaningful wellness, social-emotional, and community health programming for children, youth, and families.
Interns build skills in group facilitation, youth engagement, health education, resource navigation, program implementation, and documentation. Interns receive clinical supervision to support graduation, field placement, and professional licensure requirements.
